Humor filled and engaging ELA and Reading instruction/tutoring support for grades K-8

I am happy to offer tutoring or instruction that leans on my 14 years in education and school administration. I have seen the belly of the beast in public and charter settings and I am homeschool all the way now. I am a special needs homeschool parent and I do amazingly well with nuerodivergent or unmotivated learners. I am certified in English and hold endorsements in Reading, ESE, ESOL, and Gifted education. I have a Master’s in Education in Curriculum and Development with a concentration in English Education. What I do is bring engaging ELA and Reading instruction or tutoring support for grades K-8 in a way that makes it stick. The most stringent of subjects like grammar, vocabulary, or close reading all come easier when they are taught by connection. The connection is what I build and it works in amazing ways. If your homeschool student is less than happy about being homeschooled or perhaps recently began homeschooling then I have a great approach to help them become more comfortable independent learners with critical thinking and reasoning skills.
